Mr Sayan Bhattacharya attended to my elderly mother who had been suffering intermittent extreme pain for some time. He listened carefully to what my mother told him. He was patient, kind and caring and very attentive. We were reassured we were in safe hands almost as soon as we met him, A true professional who treated my elderly mum with upmost respect. My 86 year old mum is now recovering from emergency Gall Bladder removal surgery (with complications )and is now almost back to full strength and is completely independent back in her own home. Thankyou Sayan

Mr Bhattacharya performed a hiatal hernia repair and gastropexy operation on me, on 17th February 2022. I first met Mr Bhattacharya in August 2021; Mr Bhattacharya explained everything about my condition and the surgery, he also explained the reason why I had been asked to lose weight/reduce my BMI prior to being listed for surgery. He listened to my concerns and answered all my queries. He provided me with his secretaries details in case of any questions/problems. From the initial appointment in August through to my operation and post surgery Mr Bhattacharya has been amazing, he has contacted me personally with my date for surgery, after my initial operation was cancelled due to Omnicron, Mr Bhattacharya telephoned me and explained why, He telephoned me after this and told me the new date of my surgery. One week after my surgery I experienced a problem, Mr Bhattacharya again telephoned me directly and arranged to see me the same day. Just before Easter, I felt extremely unwell and was in severe pain, I contacted Mr Bhattacharya’s secretary and Mr Bhattacharya telephoned me immediately - even though he was on leave and he arranged for me to be seen at the hospital by his colleague on the same day for an urgent CT scan, bloods and treatment. He followed up my hospital visit, telephoning me the next day. He gave me his mobile telephone number and told me to contact him if I experienced any further problems. I last saw him in clinic on 6th May and I was still experiencing severe pain in my rib area, Mr Bhattacharya examined me and reassured me that it would ease in time. Today 19th May, Mr Bhattacharya has contacted me and asked how I am doing in regards to the pain. It is easing as he said it would. I have had excellent care from Mr Bhattacharya. My surgery has been successful, Mr Bhattacharya has provided me with fabulous care from my initial consultation right through to post surgery aftercare. I am extremely grateful to him for his consideration, explanations, surgery and aftercare. I feel very fortunate that Mr Bhattacharya was my surgeon. I highly recommend Mr Bhattacharya.

March 22nd 2022. I underwent gallbladder surgery with Mr Sayan Bhattacharya. What can I say ... such a lovely surgeon , very thorough and patient, he explained everything in full and in detail and answered all my questions without hesitation . This enabled me to fully understood the process, procedure , expectations and expected outcome. He is very dedicated and passionate about his work and his patients and he certainly went out of his way to get things back on track and support me and move my operation on after a few holdups and delays that where in no way down to himself or his team. I cannot recommend Sayan enough. Fantastic care and service and post op follow up. I am now pain free and Sayan helped make a stressful time so much easier with his support and calming friendly manner. Thank you for everything.

A good experience from first consultation through to discharge for laparotomy hernia repair. The procedure was carefully explained and I received full answers to my questions. The friendly and caring way I was dealt with by both the doctor and his support team and colleagues made the whole experience as acceptable as possible.
